Going to the fair

The county fair was a big deal, locally

On the back of this snapshot from spring of 1959 (it reads “Mar 59” in the margin), Margit mentions the local Houston County Fair.

I plan to take the one winter scene with horses and sleigh and the fall scene with little red school house to the Houston Co. fair this fall. It will be fun to see them together with other amateurs work.
