Margit used the name “Reflections” for a number of similar paintings. Funny thing, the space on the canvas that shows a reflection is rather small. Actually, almost all of Margit’s water, if calm, is painted to reflect anything from trees to the moon—and many other paintings show a larger reflection. Why did this series of paintings get called “Reflections”?
